Artist’s Brief Biography:

Andrew J. Gross
Andrew John Gross was born in London, England, and immigrated to the United States in 1947. He attended and graduated from the Boston Museum School of Fine Arts, and majored in painting, drawing, and design at the Cooper Union School of Art and Architecture in New York City.
From 1961 to 1965 he taught both adults’ and childrens’ art workshops in New York City, and in New Haven, Connecticut.
Moving to the Bay Area in the 1970’s, he continued teaching both children and adults at the Jewish Community Center, and the Guy S. Millberry Union, U.C. San Francisco.
Andrew has exhibited his art on both the East and West coasts of the U. S., and his work is in private collections in Europe and America.
